MEGAN SIKORA was raised in Pittsburgh, PA where she went on to attend Point Park University receiving a BA in Dance. She then moved to New York to pursue her dreams of being a professional dancer. After some humble beginnings at the Startbucks on 47th and Broadway and selling programs outside of Broadway shows she couldn’t get into, Megan finally got her first break as a Radio City Ensemble Dancer (too short to be a Rockette). After two seasons with RC and two summers at Sacramento Music Circus, Megan landed a part in Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party at MTC. This opened the door for the next twenty-plus years of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows: 42nd Street (Lorraine), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ruth), Wonderful Town, Dracula (u/s Lucy and Mina), Wicked (u/s Glinda and Nessarose), Curtains (Bambi / LA Ovation Nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical), Applause at Encores! (Bonnie), Showboat at Carnegie Hall (Ellie), Promises, Promises (Miss Polanski, Sylvie, Turkey Lurkey, u/s Fran and Marge), How To Succeed In Business (Miss Krumholtz, u/s Smitty, Hedy, and Miss Jones), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes at Encores! (Gloria), The Nance (Standby), and Under My Skin (Nanette) #DateMe (Woman 1), Chick Flick (Dawn), Clueless (Miss Geist/Stoeger), Holiday Inn (Lila Dixon/Chita Rivera Award), Church and State (Sara Whitmore). Megan has also been seen at Papermill Playhouse as Claudine in Can Can and Ado Annie in Oklahoma! Other favorite roles include Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Judy in White Christmas, Sally Bowles in Cabaret. Film and TV credits include Chuck (Indie), Ted 2, Pose (White Woman), Gypsy (Netfllix), Bull, The Good Fight, Braindead, Elementary, The Sound of Music Live on NBC, Boardwalk Empire, and Important Things With Dimitre Martin, as well as various commercials. If you’re interested in listening to her dulcet tones, Megan can be heard on 8 original cast recordings. If you ask her what her favorite show she’s done is, her answer will be the one that goes on at home everyday with her hilarious son and wonderful husband. If you made it to the end of this bio congratulations and thank you!
